I got an award for the most complicated. I did turns and high fives and shakes, and I ended it all with my signature trick, balancing a cookie on my nonexistent nose and flipping it in my mouth. The crowd when wild!

HM expressed her desire to speak to her subjects in an informal Q and A session this evening at Puggingham Palace.

HM was asked about her beloved garden at the Palace.
HM: My gardens is growings and is greens and pretty. We has flowers and grasses and my dearest friends, the birds, has a fountains with waters and sunflower seeds that my subject Mr. Will gives thems all the times. We hads lots of baby birdses this spring, and there are doveses. I rid the gardens of the evil Cats, I hates Catses because they poopses in my yards and eats the birdses. I hates that.

I do has squirrel issues. Edgar, the crazy squirrel, thinksses that I is goings to eats his nuts. I say: “Edgar, I am a PUG, The QUEEN OF ALL PUGS, I do NOTs eats walnuts”. But Edgar is sillys and sits and howls and barks at my Glorious Presence when I am in the gardens. I has bannded him. He’s nutty as his walnuts.

HM was asked if she has partaken of her beloved Walkabouts.
HM: Yes, I ordered the staff to takes me on a walkabouts this very evenings. It was HOTS and humids as it had rainded so it was a shorts one. I seeds my neighbor John, lots of my birdses friends and a taxi. The crazy DOG lady was not home, so I did not sees her. She worshipses me, but she yaps a lot.

HM was asked if there were any Royal Excursions planned for this Summer.
HM: I is staying mostly at my Palace. I order the limousine to takes me to the Three DOG Bakery from times to times and to see my friends Spike and Wheezie. Theys are Yorkies. I’s goings to see my AUNT Donna in Illinois sometimes, but we has nots decidedsed when. I dids not goes to PUGTONA as it was too hots for me.

HM was asked about her Walruses.
HM: All walrusesess are happies. I loves ALL Walrusseses. Cecilia, Pacifica, Nereus, Wallace and Cola are all well and snug nexts to mys THRONE.

A little bit about Her Majesty:
Puggles Duchess Windsor, Queen of Pugs, Supreme Ruler of Alaska, Princess Royal of Baltimore Place, Grand Duchess of Missouri, Grand Duchess of Kansas City and St Louis, Duchess of Illinois, Duchess of Clinton, Baroness Pugtona, Royal Order of the Greenie and Treat, Grand Order of the Scrunchie, Knight Commander of the Royal Order of Kibble, Patroness of the Royal Pugharmonic Orchestra, lives in splendor and bounty in Puggingham Palace in Kansas City, MO.

Born a simple country pug in Clinton, MO she had no idea she was of Royal lineage until it was revealed to her by her guardians. She ascended to the Royal Throne in 1999 and has ruled in glory, splendor and with grace and benevelence ever since.

In 2003, after running for Governor of California (along with everyone else) as the Livertarian Party Candidate, and upon defeat by Arnold Schwarzenegger, she accepted the title of Supreme Ruler of Alaska, along with many other titles and honors.

HM is most appreciative of this honor of having her recent conversation published.

Bonnie found a forever home. Normally I would have sulked around the house, like I usually do when a foster sibling leaves, but this time I was happy. She was such a pest and she drove me nuts. She was always kissing me and touching my stuff. So I didn’t shed one tear. Buh-bye Bonnie baby.

In other news, Mommy finally found a job. She was temping for a local nonprofit, but she was miserable. Her boss was mean to her! But now she’s got a great new job and has been busy in training. Every night she had her “flash cards” out on the couch with a binder full of papers that I wasn’t allowed to chew. So to help her study, I put my head on the edge of the binder to help keep her place. She was a good student and I was a good assistant.

It’s good that she’s working, because now I’m back to being at Camp Grandma’s every day. It’s awesome. I lie on the couch in the sun and hang out with Grandpa and Manny. Manny loves having me to play with. But he can be hyper sometimes. But it’s nice to be at Grandma’s cause Mommy works late sometimes.

Finally, Mommy’s dating a new guy. I like this one. He’s stuck around for a long time. When he arrived for their first date he brought me treats. Isn’t that cool? Yup, suck up to the pug. The other day, he brought me to his parents’ house and I got to run around their fenced in back yard. It was really cool! Then I hung out with Grandma Holly. He had eye surgery so I made sure she had lots of kisses.

Ok, well, I have to go nap. This time change always throws my puggy schedule off. Here’s a picture of Manny and me, getting ready for my favorite holiday.

The receptionist at her work called her and told her that her daughter found out that a local breeder was going to put down a blind pug puppy in one of her litters. Her daughter already has a blind dachshund an offered to take this little guy in. Isn’t that cool?

Mommy told the receptionist that if her daughter needed any information about pugs, to give out our number. (Mommy’s a bleeding heart like that.)

I’m happy that a pug was saved and will live the good life just like me and my bratty foster sister Bonnie. Bonnie’s been very naughty lately and Mommy said it’s a good thing she’s cute or she wouldn’t be able to get away with half the stuff she does. I think the cute factor keeps a lot of us pugs out of trouble. That and the fact that we can always blame it on the cat.
