She’s still here…

. . . but she’s leaving today! Mom said she can’t do our stairs that well so she’s got to go to a foster home that caters to old pugs. (She said seniors, but I say OLD!!)

Here are some pictures of her stay:

She did it again

Mommy brought home another sister. I begged for a brother. But Mommy said she was abused, so I can’t help but share my pad with her. She’s 11. And pretty cool for a girl.

It’s about time I posted…

I know, I know, it’s been a long time since I posted. But I’m a busy pug. Here’s a quick update on my life.

Bonnie found a forever home. Normally I would have sulked around the house, like I usually do when a foster sibling leaves, but this time I was happy. She was such a pest and she drove me nuts. She was always kissing me and touching my stuff. So I didn’t shed one tear. Buh-bye Bonnie baby.

In other news, Mommy finally found a job. She was temping for a local nonprofit, but she was miserable. Her boss was mean to her! But now she’s got a great new job and has been busy in training. Every night she had her “flash cards” out on the couch with a binder full of papers that I wasn’t allowed to chew. So to help her study, I put my head on the edge of the binder to help keep her place. She was a good student and I was a good assistant.

It’s good that she’s working, because now I’m back to being at Camp Grandma’s every day. It’s awesome. I lie on the couch in the sun and hang out with Grandpa and Manny. Manny loves having me to play with. But he can be hyper sometimes. But it’s nice to be at Grandma’s cause Mommy works late sometimes.

Finally, Mommy’s dating a new guy. I like this one. He’s stuck around for a long time. When he arrived for their first date he brought me treats. Isn’t that cool? Yup, suck up to the pug. The other day, he brought me to his parents’ house and I got to run around their fenced in back yard. It was really cool! Then I hung out with Grandma Holly. He had eye surgery so I made sure she had lots of kisses.

Ok, well, I have to go nap. This time change always throws my puggy schedule off. Here’s a picture of Manny and me, getting ready for my favorite holiday.

Another pug saved!

Mommy said that she got a call today about a little pug that’s going on to a great life.

The receptionist at her work called her and told her that her daughter found out that a local breeder was going to put down a blind pug puppy in one of her litters. Her daughter already has a blind dachshund an offered to take this little guy in. Isn’t that cool?

Mommy told the receptionist that if her daughter needed any information about pugs, to give out our number. (Mommy’s a bleeding heart like that.)

I’m happy that a pug was saved and will live the good life just like me and my bratty foster sister Bonnie. Bonnie’s been very naughty lately and Mommy said it’s a good thing she’s cute or she wouldn’t be able to get away with half the stuff she does. I think the cute factor keeps a lot of us pugs out of trouble. That and the fact that we can always blame it on the cat.

Not to easy, is it Mom?

Mommy thought that getting her annual Christmas card was going to be easy with a few liver treats. WRONG! That little one is my new foster sister, Bonnie and Manny is the reindeer. I’m the distinguished-looking Santa. Grandma was laughing at us during the photo shoot but The Mommy has some choice words. I hope Santa didn’t hear her!

Hard at work

I don’t know if you all know this, but I am a certified therapy dog. Mommy and I have been going into a school and I let the kids to read to me. We went today and my new friend Daniel read a story to me about the Tooth Fairy. Daniel is an excellent reader. I really enjoyed the book. Here is a picture of me and my new buddy, Daniel:

It’ll be here soon….

That time of year when Mommy tortures the pugs. I have heard mumblings about a hard hat and a tool belt. Can someone please save me. (I know Manny’s in for it, too, but it’s every pug for himself this time of year.)

Dear Uncle Mike

I’m lobbying for my pal Reggie. Can you please give him his favorite bully stick and stop being so mean? Or else I’m calling the ASPCA.

Poor, abused Reggie.

Louie needs a home….

Louise has been with Arizona pug rescue for four months. While his foster family loves him, he really needs a home of his own. Check him out on Amber’s blog.

I’m always willing to help a pug in need.

Leave it up to Mommy

Mommy went far away and left me for a whole week to visit a friend. I had to stay with Grandma and put up with Manny for a week. But I got lots of treats and love, so it was ok.

Mommy said she met a nice man on her flight who had two pugs, Annabelle and Isabelle. Larry, Mommy said if you email her pictures of your girls, she’d post them on my site. Normally I don’t like girls too much, but since you’re pretty far away, I think I’ll be safe from the cooties. You can send her to pictures to samantha at newsie96 dot com.

I can’t wait to see your girls!
